We had gone into downtown Spartanburg and walked around a little bit this weekend and the girls enjoyed the statues and fountains. This statue was for the soldiers that fought (and won) at the battle of Cowpens. Lucy was excited that she knew what that meant and we have been there and walked those grounds before. It is so cool to see Lucy making connections like this and really grasping the things she is learning about!!!
