Jumpers

I took lots of pictures of the girls jumping into the pool trying to time it just right for that "perfect" shot (that I never fully got). These were some of my favorites though.

Notice that Clara is no longer wearing a floaty!! We have known for a while that she didn't' need it as she is a strong swimmer, but she wasn't ready to give it up (much like her training wheels). One day we went to the pool and I honestly forgot it, so we tried it out without a floaty and she was hooked! I was amazed at how good she does swim!!

Clara felt confident in this pool--even though the pool is HUGE, the deepest it ever is is 4 foot, so she can touch the bottom almost everywhere. Since being back from St. Augustine, we have been to the development pool and she went in the deep end (5 ft) just fine with no fear and was swimming great! Yeah!!!

Lucy has become quite the trickster in the water. She is doing wonderful hand stands and somersaults and swimming much farther under water now too. We would set up obstacles for her and she would swim under our legs and not have to come up for air in between.
