We went to the local town hall meeting last night. It was great for the girls to see how democracy is supposed to work. We did have them bring their Leapsters as we didn't expect them to pay full attention and follow what was going on :) I did only have to take Clara out once to have a talk to her about being quiet---after that she was great! They both were great in fact. Lucy amazed me, she paid attention for a lot of it, followed what was going on, asked good questions and even said she enjoyed it afterwards.
We try to keep up on current events with Lucy since she will be learning this in years to come in history class. We do a lot of it online which Lucy LOVES :) Clara is too young to talk to about it all yet, but it will be fun to show her pictures like this when we learn about such things.
