During our stay with Cheryl we worked the men :) For the 4th we made Low Country Boil (that was DELICIOUS) and it was too funny watching the men get it together, lug it around and drain it. We were standing on the side porch laughing (lovingly of course :)
Darrell learned during out stay that when I say "gee, I was thinking..." that usually ends up with something being moved :) This beautiful wood stove they have was in the wrong place on the porch and Darrell was a good sport and he agreed to move it so me and Cheryl could decorate the front porch :) This thing is like 500 pounds, so this was no small feat!! We were there rooting them on encouragingly of course LOL----oh and of course taking pictures...
In the process paint got spilled so Darrell now had that mess to clean up :) All this and I never did take an after picture. We all enjoyed the porch very much---so thank you Darrell and I hope you all enjoy it immensely :)
Now that we are gone those poor people can rest :) Darrell was cracking us up saying how bad he felt for Mike how I must work him ;) He said so seriously, "I'm sending him a card."
