The Greatest Show On Earth :)

For Valentine's Day I got the girls tickets to see the circus. Lucy has been before a long time ago, but Clara never has and I knew they would love it. All week they have been seeing the ads on tv and saying Zim Zam Zoom and I would just smile to myself knowing they were going to love it ;)

Well, Clara got sick, the poor thing. I really thought we could make it through the couple of hours at the circus and then Clara could rest the whole rest of the day. She is a trooper, and tried so hard to enjoy it! We made it down to the stage area to meet the performers, but it wasn't too long that she had to run to the bathroom...

We tried the stage again after the first round at the bathroom, and you can see she is just not feeling well. We had to run to the bathroom again... All total we went to the bathroom five times the poor thing and her tummy was really hurting her not to mention the cold, throat, cough and sneezing! She was a mess!!

We gave up trying to go on the stage. Clara just needed to sit and rest. Lucy wasn't too thrilled about that, but she got over it and handled the rest very well. We ended up leaving at intermission and I was so proud of Lucy when she said "well, that's ok, because we saw all the good stuff already." Later on she said "that truly is the greatest show on earth." Too cute! I am glad Lucy got to enjoy it. I asked Clara what her favorite part of the circus was and she says "watching it."

Here the circus was just about to begin---yeah!! Better luck next time...
