Clara was not very good during this entire day! She was up early, so she was tired, plus she is sick and then it was a very long day for all of us and she is only 4! We are in the x-ray room waiting on the results and Clara is losing it. At least we were alone in here so she wasn't bothering a whole waiting room of people. You can tell, Lucy is OVER IT!!! Clara was not overly loud thankfully, but she was fussing and whining and complaining and very angry at me because we were not going home and I was NEVER going to get her a chocolate milk ever again! I never said that---these were deductions she came up with on her own...
Normally I would not allow my child to "swim" across the floor---how disgusting---but honestly by this point in the day I just didn't care. It was keeping her quiet and that was good enough for me.
Clara spent a good bit of the time today in self-imposed time out. Several times, had she not put herself in time-out, I would have, but she beat me to it. She will
mumble in time-out now and it is the most pathetic thing to listen to. She gets very upset with herself about being bad.

Clara, you aleays have been a "horse of a different color". That is what makes you Clara.
Now is your time to be the big sister and take care of Lucy and help Mommy out. But first you have to get better. So take your medicine, get plenty of rest and then when you get better you can harrass your Sister since she can't run very fast on cruches.
