Snow Day

The kids had the day off school today since it had snowed. I gave mine the day off as well. This side of the neighborhood became very popular since we have the hills over here :) We had a yard full---here are just a few shots I got. I did not take many outside pictures since it was cold and I quite enjoyed having the kids inside and the adults inside drinking warm coffee :)

They tried different things to work as sleds, and here they are in Lisa's yard trying a sand box lid as a sled. It didn't really work, but the kids had fun with it anyway :)

They all lined up and were so patient and kind. They really all played super well together in this wintery wonderland!! I do not know how Clara would know to associate snow with Christmas, since we have never had snow on Christmas in her lifetime, but when the kids woke up and saw snow on everything Clara came running downstairs yelling "happy Christmas!" Too cute!
