Make It Snow, Make It Snow, Make It Snow :)

Getting in position for their first trip down the hill. I wasn't sure how the girls would react, but there was NO hesitation at all by either one of them. They were so excited and couldn't wait to hop on those tubes and go! Clara was too young (not to small) to go by herself, so Mike started off going down with her, however, she figured it out soon enough and was comfortable going on her own (at least going down by herself---up was a different story :)
We got to the tubing place and bundled the girls all up---they were good and slick! It was funny---I remember as a kid getting all bundled up like this to go outside to play----what an ordeal!!! We are very thankful to have snow suits for them (thank you Nonni and Pop) and thankful that we live close enough to snow that they can get some use out of them :) No doubt they will still fit next year too which will be great! We are still hoping it will snow here so we can sled in our back yard!!!

We went to a ski slope first and showed the girls what that is all about. It was too late to consider doing this today, but it was good for the girls to see people skiing and snowboarding---they thought that was super cool! Just to see snow made their day! I couldn't believe the memories it brought back going to a ski lodge!! I have never been to this one before, but it was so similar---it was cool
