Happy Birthday Dear Clara!!!

Clara turns 4!!!! What a big day :) This Sunday we took the girls to see Disney On Ice for Clara's birthday and they LOVED IT!!!!


There was so much to look at that it was hard to get Clara to stay looking at the camera for the 3 sec. delay :)

Clara was memorized through the whole performance.

She also sat on Daddy's lap pretty much the whole time. I kept thinking--man I could have gotten away with buying only 3 seats :) Of course, if I did that she would have wanted her own seat :)

We all enjoyed the show very much!! Disney doesn't put on a bad show of course! The girls got so excited over every part of it, even parts they were less familiar with.

As for the rest of Clara's birthday, we are staying home today. I have strep throat (started antibiotics last night) and am feeling crummy. That works out good for the birthday girl though as I am letting her eat cupcakes and make a mess since I have no energy for much else :)

Clara has been loving getting cards in the mail and her gifts. We usually stretch birthdays out a week and let her open a little here and there so she can enjoy each gift before going on to the next. For each card and each gift she has done a precious little dance around the living room. She opens it and says "I love it---what is it?" and dances around. She got a sweater from her Grandma/pa Herring and she danced with it all around yelling out "it will fit perfectly." It is too cute! I have one gift left for her that I will wait for Mike to get home for. Then she will go across the street for her gift there. April brought us lunch too, which is a true blessing and very special (thank you April!!).
