Good Clean Fun :)

Yesterday we went to our friends house to make soap! Me and the girls have never done this before and were excited to learn something new. We had such a great time and the girls love their good smelling soaps! They got to choose the scent, the mold, the colors---they are truly their own creations! Some soaps have little treasures hidden inside too.

Here Matthew and Lucy are taking their "jobs" very seriously :) They all loved this so much---even the boys who have made lots of soap were not at all bored with it. They didn't even mind hiding flowers (you know---girly flowers--they were even pink) in the soaps :)

This family is very musical and the girls also enjoyed playing with all of their instruments! Here is Clara at the piano keyboard, but we were also treated to very loud drum music as well :)

I saw Martha Steward make these string ornaments that looked so easy to do, so we all decided to give them a try. Martha made it look so easy----lets just say there was a fair share of trial and error with this craft attempt. Fortunately the kids all enjoyed it very much, and now when we make more we will have learned from the mistakes of the first batch :)

Part of the fun was watching the kids blow up the balloons----they weren't easy to do for whatever reason. You can't tell nearly as much in this picture, but Matthew would turn BRIGHT red in his balloon blowing up work :)

Brandon and Matthew enjoyed winding the string---around, and around, and around, and around, and around :)
