Tax Free

I went to WalMart at midnight to get our school supplies for the tax free holiday. I figured I would beat the rush and I knew I had a full weekend and wouldn't get there, so that worked out. I was still surprised how many people were there at that time---I had no idea. It was so nice shopping though with no children and just being able to stroll about taking my time :) It got me excited about starting school again too. We haven't been done for too long, but we will be starting up again soon.

I was watching Sara Jane on Friday and the girls got into the school supplies and had a ball!!

Kathy came over with her boys in the afternoon and we went over the K4-K5 program and once we had a clear direction God really made it clear what I was to do. I have been working on my curriculum for co-op for that and it is falling into place and coming right along, praise God!! So, that is a huge praise, that I am not freaked out about that anymore!! I'm not saying I'm not nervous, but I have much more peace about it now :) I'm even a bit excited :O)

The girls really love playing with Ben, Matthew and Brandon. Last time they were here if you recall I mentioned that Matthew hurt his wrist---well, he didn't just hurt it, he broke it!!! The two bones that come together there both broke. Fortunately the doctor decided not to put a cast on it, but said it is a common break and will heal well with a splint so he is able to get that wet and still go swimming---so the kids really had a great time swimming like fish!!

Saturday Mike and I had a date!!! What a treat that was!! Our friends across the street kept the girls for us and we got to go to a movie (it wasn't G either!!!) and out to dinner with NO KIDS!!! It was so nice!!! Thank you so much Melissa and April for that, it truly blessed us!! We went and saw Hancock with Will Smith which was a really good movie. We figured we couldn't go wrong with Will Smith :) Then we had a wonderful, peaceful dinner :)
