A Life Jacket

It was raining today pretty heavily (thank You God!) and we were going to go out when Daddy got home. We are pricing/researching grills. I suggested to Mike that we get one for our anniversary/birthday's combo since ours is super old and blows out easily. Mike got all excited and then said "well wouldn't you be gypped?" I said, if you had a new grill would you cook more on it? He said yes, I said "then no way am I gypped :) "

Anyway, Clara got very concerned about going out into the heavy rain and then she got the great idea that she needed a "life jacket". She ran upstairs with a purpose, and this is the jacket she pulled out of her closet to keep her safe. It doesn't even fit. She was so cute though, she came rushing down all excited that she had the perfect "life jacket", so i just had to get a picture :)

She was more than happy to pose for photos :)
And see, it even has a hood for that added bit of protection :)

A side note here, when we were flipping through the blog Clara saw the Emu in an earlier post and started yelling out "There is that bird that tried to eat me!!" It was so funny!!
