The reason the park is called Hollywild is because this is where a lot of actor animals live. Many have a star at their area listing their resume. For instance we saw the rhino from the commercials for Land Rover, and the horse from Pipi Longstocking. So that was an added level of excitement with the trip :)
Clara found a piece of wood that worked great as a "notebook" and a stick for a "pen" and she was busy taking notes throughout her trip. She also very much loves to interview people, so she would take notes of their comments. Here she is interviewing her friend Tekoa.
A real highlight of the day was the safari ride. We got to ride on a bus that looked like a zebra and the animals came up to eat. You can see Lucy's stash of bread next to her. They brought a HUGE box of bread so the supply seemed never ending, and it was a good thing because there were a ton of animals that came to eat!!
Clara, such a goof!! She loved getting on the zebra bus :)
Here's the girls after the safari ride with the bus.
It has been a long trip, but a great one. Hollywild does a GREAT homeschool program and we all learned a ton! Now we have to lapbook about our adventures so we don't forget anything :)
