When I went to pick up Clara her and Jayden both bombarded me "I want to go to his house!" He was saying "I want to go to your house." It was too cute. We had to leave and when we went to lunch and were walking in, we heard the cutest little voice yelling "Clara, Clara!" Jayden and his family were coming to the same restaurant! They had a large group with them, so we took Jayden to our table and it was so cute watching their "first date".
I asked Jayden if Clara talks a lot (because she hadn't stopped since I picked her up) and he said "no" and that can only be true love :) He pushed Clara's chair in and didn't know when to stop and he had her pinned into the table. We were laughing so hard!! I didn't know you could be too chivalrous, but apparently you can. I was so glad that his mother was able to see that one too. Clara was yelling out for help. I wish I had my camera, but I left it in the car for this trip.
Now that we are healthy and they are back from their vacation we will have to see about getting them together. Lucy kept asking Jayden questions over lunch and it was so cute to see her reaction as the protective older sister.
Then we got home and about 10 min later the ice cream truck came by and the girls were SOOO excited about that!!! They have seen them on tv before, but not in real life. We had one come through a month or so ago, but we couldn't figure out what the music was and I kept looking for one of the kids toys somewhere, so by the time we figured it out the truck went by. This time, they heard it and knew right away what it was and were ready!! So, we let them have the treat.
