Herrings are Farmers :)

Not long after moving in we got some tomato plants we are growing in containers. I do not have a green thumb at all, but so far have managed not to kill these :) Well, we check them just about every day and the girls have counted and watched as the tomatoes have appeared and grown, and finally two of them were prime for the picking!

There was NO more patience left to wait to taste our new produce, so I had to cut one up for lunch. The girls love tomatoes and will eat them diced and plain all the time. I have to admit that was the best tomato I have ever had :) There are many tomatoes left on the plants, so we will keep an eye on them and have more yummy tomatoes for lunch :) Since we have done well with the tomatoes I am thinking of adding some more veges to our garden.
