I am really fighting with Windows Live Photo Gallery---worse program in the world!! I can’t find half of what is in there---so while I have something up I need to get it blogged so if I lose it there at least I will have it here. Very frustrating!
Anyway—again, this seems like a lifetime ago now…but on our way home from Ohio we stayed for 2 nights in Nashville, TN. We had 3 stops there we wanted to make—Andrew Jackson’s home, the Parthenon (which we've been to before, but couldn’t go inside), and Antique Archeology.
First up was the Hermitage (home of Andrew Jackson). A good bit of the tour (self guided) was outside and this day it was FREEZING!! We had a great time in spite of the cold though
The spring house there reminded me of the one we had in VA.
I have lots of other pictures from here that are great but either this program lost them, or they are on Lucy’s phone and I need to download those…
Now on to the Parthenon.
We had so much fun in here playing with the statues Again, lots more fun pics but I’m thinking they are on Lucy’s phone.
That was one mean lion!
It never fails—if the door is a pull Clara will push, and if it a push she will pull! She doesn’t take no for an answer either—she is determined!
Next was Antigue Archeology
We saw the episode of Frank and Mike picking this arrow. It was cool to check out their shop. There was even live music!!
As a bonus we decided to eat at a brazilian BBQ place. We don’t have anything like that here, so it was a splurge and we all love MEAT!!!
Oh yeah!! Our major carnivore Lucy is one happy girl!! Just keep the meat coming!
One of Clara’s favorites was the chicken hearts. The rest of us didn’t care for them. Personally, it was a texture thing, but Clara loved them!
Happy, happy, happy!
Lucy had put this collage together on Instagram and I took a screen shot.
I tried to get the girls to come out and see this chicken with me. It was holding a fork and knife—but they were not about to come. Lucy was in a nest in the way back and Clara was upset about her pants falling down (no idea—she was just exhausted!). This was on our drive home.
Crashed!

Clara,
Don't worry Nonni has lived a lifetime of pushing when it says pull and vice versa. I now try to get to the door before she does in order to save her some embarrassment.
