The Forecast Was Correct

As it turned out, the forecast for the weather was actually correct. It RAINED all night very HARD!!! The sound in the tent was very cool and soothing---and every time it would rain harder we just had to laugh. We all had a good time telling stories and being goofy!

Clara getting a drink :) I purposely did not drink much before bed in an attempt to not have to get up in the middle of the night to pee. This did not work however. I would have to pee and then try really hard to talk myself out of it while listening to rain hit the tent---that just did not work. What an ordeal it was to get out to pee and there was no way I was walking to the bathroom in the pouring rain, but I managed to do it outside the tent in the mud without falling down---which was quite an accomplishment!

In the morning Clara stood up and said "I'm wet". Very calmly in fact and Clara HATES to be wet so we figured she was slightly damp. NO, she was SOAKED!!! The poor thing had a puddle under where she was sleeping. What a trooper!! We got her changed and she got on the blow up mattress with us :) In the day we camped, we went through about 4 outfits per child :)

While playing at the lake, Clara fell in. Hard to tell in the picture, but she is SOAKED from shoulders down!! We then put her in the last of the 5 outfits we packed for 2 days :)

We called it after this as there was no way our stuff would dry out to sleep another night here. We had fun for the time we camped and the girls were real troopers and are already talking about the next camping trip.

OK! I do not Think I have ever laughed so hard! If I had looked outside of our camper to see you outside of your tent doing your thing, I would have died laughing!

I love how both you and Mike have a sense of humor! We love you guys!
